Department Head: Multiphysics CFD Simulation

As Department Head: Multiphysics CFD Simulation, you will lead an international team of experts in simulation and analysis, driving innovation in fluid dynamics for future vehicle development.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Technical and disciplinary leadership of the Multiphysics CFD Simulation team
• Strategic planning and development of simulation methods and digital engineering technologies
• Collaboration with customers, research partners, and technical committees
• Leadership of research and development projects
• Representation of AVL through publications and conference contributions

Requirements:

• Completed technical education (university or college) in vehicle development, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field
• At least 10 years of experience in CFD simulation and expertise in fluid dynamics
• Experience in leading teams and managing projects
• Strong knowledge of CFD tools such as AVL FIRE, ANSYS Fluent, and STAR-CCM+
• Programming skills in Python and scripting
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
