Senior Accountant I

Electronic Arts is seeking a Senior Accountant I to join their Controllership team in Lyon, France. The successful candidate will support multiple international legal entities across Europe and beyond, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of financial information.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end close process for assigned legal entities, ensuring accurate US GAAP and local statutory reporting.
• Maintain an internal control environment, including SOX compliance, and support statutory, tax, and regulatory obligations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Partner with Tax, Treasury, Transfer Pricing, Shared Services, and advisors to resolve accounting, reporting, and compliance matters for European operations.
• Guide automation and standardisation projects, improving finance processes and communicating recommendations and risk assessments to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of progressive experience in audit, accounting, or controllership, including experience within a multinational organisation.
• Experience preparing US GAAP and local statutory financial statements for multiple legal entities, including compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
• Experience using Oracle and Power BI, with interest in AI-enabled tools to improve reporting and business processes.
