Description
We are recruiting for a fixed-term, 6-month contract within the Seasonal team as a Merchandiser in the Leisure category. In this role, you will be at the centre of planning, building, and delivering ranges that connect with customers. You will shape decisions, improve stock flow, and influence the commercial direction of your category, working closely with buyers, suppliers, and cross-functional partners to drive performance.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of delivering a customer-led merchandising strategy for your category
- Ensure balanced and commercial ranges are built
- Use data, trends, and customer insight to inform decisions and manage budgets
- Work closely with Buying, Supply Chain, Retail, and suppliers to keep stock flowing and optimise availability
- Review performance regularly, identifying risks and opportunities
Requirements:
- Previous merchandising experience
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data
- Experience delivering results to target as an individual and as part of a team
- Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-moving retail environment
- Ability to influence and build strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Highly organised with strong planning and problem-solving capabilities
- Customer-focused with a positive, collaborative approach
- Strong Excel skills
