Description
The Fraud Investigation Consultant is responsible for assisting the Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary/Head of Investigation in administering AIA's Anti-Fraud Policy.
Main responsibilities include:
- Conducting investigations of routine cases related to employee, intermediary, and third-party contractor fraud
- Providing fraud risk assessments and advisory assistance to business units
- Conducting triage for cases, devising investigation plans, and formulating recommendations
- Preparing regular reports for regulatory committees and other stakeholders
- Providing insights on current fraud trends and assisting in ensuring timely endorsement of significant cases
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to review emerging issues and assess potential related fraud risk
- Assisting in ensuring Anti-Fraud Policy requirements are effectively embedded and communicated across business units
Requirements:
- University degree in Accounting, IT, business process engineering, or Bachelor of Laws
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in audit, investigations, risk management, or compliance
- Ability to identify, evaluate, and interpret complex financial transactions
- Knowledge in data analytics, computer forensics, and information security is preferred
- Self-confident, self-motivated, and good interpersonal skills
