We have a rewarding opportunity as a Blender. You will mix raw materials to finish bulk lubricants, supported by the offload of raw materials, the loading of truck/rail cars, and the movement of bulk to the packaging lines.
Responsibilities Include
- Attention to details impacting both safety and quality
- Ability to adhere to detailed work instructions and processes
- Operation of automated blending control systems
- Responsible for processing transactions in SAP
- Load and offload railcars and trucks with bulk materials
- Retain samples and collaborate with lab to maintain quality checks on lubricants
- Strong communication with packaging lines to coordinate the filling of the correct products
- Ability to recognize and maintain 5S standards
- Adherence to all local and federal regulations including EPA, USCG, etc.
- Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.
What You'll Need
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient at basic math
- Basic computer skills
- Process and detail oriented
- Prior use of SAP is a plus
- Experience with bulk liquids is a plus
