Sr. Financial Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to play a critical role in financial planning, analysis, and decision support across our organisation.

The successful candidate will partner closely with operations, supply chain, and commercial teams to deliver accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis, and support strategic initiatives through accurate financial modeling and insights.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Lead contributor in budgeting and forecasting load processes into SAP.
• Build and manage budget and forecast P&L files by entity.
• Analyse financial performance versus budget, forecast, and prior periods as it relates to functional expense.
• Prepare variance analyses with clear explanations and actionable recommendations.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic decisions.

Reporting & Decision Support

• Prepare financial reports and dashboards for senior management.
• Support banking, executing wire transfers, ACH payments, intercompany settlements.
• Provide insights into product profitability, pricing, and margin analysis.
• Support month-end close activities in collaboration with accounting.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reports.

Process Improvement & Systems

• Improve FP&A processes, reporting tools, and data accuracy.
• Serve as key contributor in the transition from ECC to S/4HANA, including testing, validation, and processing documentation.
• Leverage SAP and Power BI tools to enhance financial visibility.
• Assist with internal controls, audits, and compliance initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting from a four-year college or university.
• CPA or MBA preferred but not required.
• 3-5 years experience in related industry and/or public accounting with responsibilities similar to those listed above.
• Computer proficiency required including Advanced Excel skills, PowerPoint. SAP proficiency is a plus.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must have a flexible schedule to accommodate monthly, quarterly, and annual deadlines.
