Thermal and Fluid Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Thermal and Fluid Systems Engineer to join our team at Cummins Inc.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing thermal and fluid systems for our engines and powertrains.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and develop thermal and fluid systems for engines and powertrains
• Conduct performance analysis and optimisation of thermal and fluid systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system integration and validation
• Develop and implement test plans and procedures
• Analyse and resolve technical issues related to thermal and fluid systems

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in thermal and fluid systems engineering
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer
• Proficiency in CAD design tools such as CATIA, NX, or SolidWorks
• Experience with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and finite element analysis (FEA)

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
• Experience with engine and powertrain development
• Knowledge of industry regulations and standards
