Senior High Speed SerDes Validation Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Validation Engineer to join the DGX Server Product Engineering Team. You will develop and implement complex automated test plans for GPU accelerated computing products.

Responsibilities:

• Own validation of products from start to finish, including test plan development, automation, and test execution.
• Collaborate with ODMs, component suppliers, and QA teams to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Coordinate internal and external teams across different time zones.
• Develop system level stress and performance testing strategies using Deep Learning/AI applications.
• Resolve complex system level hardware and software issues on GPU accelerated computing platforms.

Requirements:

• Ability to work on-site in a hardware lab environment 5 days a week.
• BSEE or BSCE or equivalent experience.
• High-speed IO validation experience.
• 5+ years of experience in validating and debugging complex systems.
• Experience with developing/running real-world workload and factory diagnosis tools.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in collaborating across teams and suppliers.
• Familiarity with lab instruments like Oscilloscopes.
• High-speed SERDES validation experience (50GBaud/s and above).
• Strong understanding of DSP-based high-speed SERDES architectures.
• Coding experience with languages such as C/C++, JS, and Python.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with datacenter products, including system management, security, networking, and storage.
• Familiarity with Ethernet and InfiniBand switch architectures.
• Hands-on experience with SERDES performance tuning.
• Track record of continuous process improvement with a focus on tools and automation.
• Proven knowledge in Circuit and Waveform analysis.
