Intern - Biotechnologist (Gene)

We are seeking an intern to join our Production team as a Biotechnologist focusing on Gene synthesis.

Key Responsibilities

• Synthesize targeted genes according to customer requirements and departmental procedures.
• Perform experimental procedures including PCR, Ligation Transformation, Bacterial Inspection, Plasmid Construction, and Quality Inspection.
• Conduct data record analysis and result evaluation.
• Adhere strictly to safety production management regulations and product production SOP requirements.
• Operate experiments independently in areas such as Gene Synthesis, Vector Construction, Gene Mutation, Plasmid Extraction, Sequence Analysis, Sequencing, PCR & qPCR, Reagent Preparation, and Quality Inspection.
• Identify and report problems in the production process, actively solving issues with the team.
• Ensure proper handover of experiments and perform simple analysis of unfinished experiments.
• Complete other tasks assigned by superiors.

Key Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences, Life Sciences, Bioengineering, Chemistry, or related fields.
• Solid foundation in Molecular Biology and Cell Biology; strong background in experimental operations; familiarity with conventional genetic engineering techniques is preferred.
• Strong sense of achievement; resilient and able to perform under pressure.
• Team player with good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Available to work 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week.
