Senior Staff Data Scientist

Netlify's Data team plays a crucial role in understanding and improving the product-led growth journey. We're looking for a Senior Staff Data Scientist to lead the analytical understanding of Netlify's PLG performance and drive strategic decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop an end-to-end understanding of the PLG journey and identify opportunities for growth
• Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to turn behavioural insights into product bets
• Lead experimentation from hypothesis to decision, including study design and analysis
• Build scalable analytical systems and apply statistical rigor to drive decision-making
• Serve as a trusted analytical partner to PLG leadership and influence product strategy

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in product analytics, growth analytics, or data science
• Deep understanding of product and growth dynamics across activation, engagement, conversion, monetization, and retention
• Demonstrated ability to turn behavioural data into product hypotheses and drive measurable outcomes
• Expertise in experimentation design, statistical reasoning, and causal inference
• Experience building analytical systems and using AI tools to accelerate investigation
