Description
We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our team. As a software developer on our team, you will be the driving force behind crafting user-friendly, reliable software and tools that support critical technology platforms such as operating systems, networks, and databases.
You will balance growing our software capabilities with hardware compatibility considerations and have the opportunity to influence development decisions. We offer diverse opportunities across Applications Development, Database Development, Embedded Networking and OS Development, IT, Security, Test & Quality, and Web Services.
Responsibilities:
- Develop user-friendly, reliable software and tools that support critical technology platforms
- Balance growing software capabilities with hardware compatibility considerations
- Influence development decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results
Requirements:
- Master's degree with 0 years of work experience or Bachelor's degree with 2 years of work experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proficiency in at least one of the following programming or scripting languages: C/C++, Python, or Java
- Experience in quality assurance (QA), testing, and/or debugging
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Linux, networking concepts, operating system fundamentals, embedded development, and/or machine learning
- Experience with databases, web application development, and web services
- Knowledge of computer networking and/or cybersecurity
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud

Salary Range:
- $125,700.00 - $203,100.00 (New York City Metro Area)
- $111,700.00 - $180,800.00 (Non-Metro New York state & Washington state)
