We are seeking a Manufacturing Associate II to work in our O'Hara, PA location, operating Monday to Thursday from 5:30 am to 3:50 pm with occasional Friday overtime.
Job Summary: As a Manufacturing Associate II, you will play a crucial role in assembling and supporting medical device manufacturing processes, ensuring quality control, and collaborating with various departments to resolve issues and suggest improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Integrate circuit boards, wiring harnesses, units, and mechanical assemblies using tooling equipment in an FDA-regulated facility
- Apply knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), good manufacturing practices (GMP), traceability, and material review board (MRB) to perform automated testing and other requirements
- Interact professionally with leads, supervisors, engineers, and coworkers to enhance teamwork and foster positive working relationships
- Support production or quality control inspections
- Collaborate with teams to resolve line issues and suggest improvements
- Provide training and guidance to new trainees and assemblers on complex assembly work
- Perform quality control measurements and functions, supporting new product builds and testing
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of experience in medical device assembly or technical assembly
- Understanding of or ability to quickly learn Bayer's quality systems policies
- Ability to perform technical writing
- Adaptability and teamwork skills
- Sound judgment, continuous improvement, and customer focus
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and visual work instructions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree
- Ability to perform all major tasks and at least 50% of all operations within the Bayer manufacturing cells/lines with no assistance
