Senior Customer Engineer, Commercial

We're seeking a Senior Customer Engineer, Commercial to join our Solution Engineering team. As a trusted advisor, you will own the technical relationship with customers from initial discovery to long-term adoption and expansion.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Validation: Lead technical discovery, build bespoke architectures, and deliver product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) across Cloudflare's portfolio.
• Customer Adoption & Value Realization: Lead technical onboarding and implementation, serving as the primary executive and engineering contact for customers.
• Commercial Accountability & Expansion: Carry a variable quota tied directly to new business acquisition and/or ongoing account growth.
• Trusted Advisory: Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the entire customer lifecycle.
• AI Orchestration & Workflow Automation: Leverage AI agents and internal platforms to automate routine tasks.

Requirements:

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role.
• Broad technical expertise spanning web security, networking, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.
• Proven track record of operating in a quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environment.
• Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have:

• Cloudflare AI Stack Experience.
• Applied AI Knowledge.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.

Compensation:

• Competitive base salary and variable commission structure.
• Estimated annual salary range: $212,000 - $292,000.
