Executive, VPMS Modelling, Actuarial Services (Contract)

The Executive for VPMS plays a critical role in supporting the delivery of the Company's growth strategies by working on system implementation for new products or enhancements to the VPMS side of the Integral Life (IL) system.

Responsibilities:

• Assess the VPMS Modelling gap list and requirements, identifying gaps, areas, or formulas that need improvement, including understanding requirements and integrations for new models or enhancements.
• Develop and code VPMS models to ensure new products or enhancements can be carried out on the IL and peripheral systems, including updating and uploading tables, defining variables, and coding calculations.
• Ensure system integrity by performing comprehensive testing between the VPMS model and VPMS spreadsheets to verify accuracy.
• Support users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), providing assistance, troubleshooting problems, making necessary corrections, and ensuring models meet user requirements.
• Provide ongoing support for VPMS models once in production, resolving issues, implementing updates or enhancements, and ensuring smooth operation.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, or a related field with strong numeracy and/or coding elements.
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, VBA, Word, PowerPoint) and programming languages.
• Good communication skills, command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines.
• Driven by a high desire to acquire knowledge and deliver results.
• Progress in Actuarial professional examinations (IOA/IOAA/SOA) advantageous but not required.
