Training as an Electronics Engineer for Automation Technology

Location: Saarlouis

Duration and Start Date: 3.5 years, starting on 01 September 2027

Salary: You'll receive a training allowance based on the collective agreement:

• 1st year of training: €1,261 per month
• 2nd year of training: €1,328 per month
• 3rd year of training: €1,419 per month
• 4th year of training: €1,485 per month

Plus: holiday and Christmas bonuses

Working Hours and Holiday Entitlement: 37.5 hours per week Up to 53 free days per year, including 30 holiday days

Vocational School: TGBBZ – Dillingen, block teaching

Responsibilities:

• Installation, programming, and maintenance of robots and SPS systems
• Electrical engineering basics: control technology, electro-pneumatics, and SPS programming
• Designing digital processes (e.g., HTML/web technology)
• Practical work: assembling components and wiring, conducting measurements, troubleshooting
• Future technology: modern control systems and robot systems

Requirements:

• Mainstream school certificate after year 9 or higher
• Interest in maths, physics, and technology
• Manual dexterity, concentration ability
• Enjoyment of teamwork and practical training
