Description
As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in line with department requirements and state and specialty standards.
Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following established nursing models.
You will also act as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
- Document care administration in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
- Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in cardiac and medical-surgical patient care.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
- Current BLS issued from American Heart Association required.
- 1 year of clinical experience as a licensed RN in an acute care setting required.
