Supplier Quality Senior Engineer

We are seeking a qualified Supplier Quality Senior Engineer to oversee NM project activity and independently manage supplier part and process maturation to meet New Model project/event timing for New vehicles. The successful candidate will provide technical engineering expertise to ensure parts and processes can meet mass production quality requirements and demand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute approval of part conformance prior to sellable units
• Review, evaluate, and approve supplier processes, including Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Process Quality Control Table (PQCT), Operation Standards, and Manufacturing Quality Standard (MQS)
• Develop, coordinate, and execute resolutions to quality and tooling concerns with suppliers
• Evaluate and approve initial part conformance through dimensional analysis and specification testing
• Provide technical direction and support throughout tool trials and crisis activities
• Review and confirm supplier planning and development to meet model volume and process cycle time requirements
• Develop, manage, and execute special projects and implement improvement plans
• Mentor new associates within the group

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant engineering experience
• 2 years of experience depending on education
• Knowledge of measurement systems (GD&T and DNT), injection molding, CATIA, and Microsoft software
• Strong program management and ability to learn new technologies

Working Conditions:

• Office-based with some hybrid work and travel required approximately 2-3 days a week, often overnight
• Potential for international travel and last-minute travel for crisis support
• Possible shift time adjustments to support trial builds during start-up periods
