Description
We are seeking a trainee to join our Corporate M&A team, which advises prominent German and foreign companies on exciting and varied mergers and acquisitions transactions, including national and international Mergers & Acquisitions, Joint Ventures, and transformations.
As a trainee, you will have diverse development opportunities through our HLC Next trainee program, which includes personal mentoring, training on the job, support in preparing for the second state examination, practice insights, interactive skills trainings, and numerous networking events.
Responsibilities:
- Working on corporate M&A transactions, including due diligence, contract review, and negotiation
- Collaborating with partners and associates on complex corporate governance matters
- Conducting research and analysis on industry trends and developments
Requirements:
- At least a satisfactory first state examination or completed part of the first state examination at a German university
- Interest in economic relationships and processes
- Very good English language skills
- The scientific work can also be carried out as part of a doctorate or legal clerkship
