Description
We are looking for a Data Science Lead to join our Verification Data Science team within KYC Global and Onboarding in London. As a Data Science Lead, you will own the team's data science roadmap, lead and develop our data scientists, and take responsibility for the impact and quality of our machine learning systems.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Developing and prioritizing projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Providing technical direction across the model lifecycle
- Uncovering opportunities and providing expertise on applying machine learning/data science techniques
- Managing and creating large datasets related to KYC processes
- Iterating on deep learning image models
- Measuring and optimizing performance of machine learning models
- Maintaining and developing a large Python codebase
- Keeping up-to-date with the rapidly developing field of machine learning
- Researching the domain of Document verification to prevent criminal activity
- Managing and developing data scientists through coaching and career support
