Industrial Engineering Intern

We are seeking an intern to join our Industrial Engineering team at Porsche Leipzig GmbH. As an intern, you will gain comprehensive insights into planning and production processes and support us with various projects and activities.

Responsibilities:

• Familiarize yourself with planning and production processes and the daily work of planning engineers
• Assist with planning activities in lean production, series support, and time management
• Support the development of measures to increase productivity, including presenting results
• Participate in conducting force measurements and ergonomic evaluations
• Accompany installation tests in the component change process (series support)
• Collaborate on the further development of department-specific IT systems and standardization of work tasks
• Interface with departments throughout the plant (assembly, painting, body construction, and axle assembly)

Requirements:

• Studying industrial engineering, automotive production, production/ manufacturing technology, business administration, mechatronics, or a related field
• Team-oriented and self-motivated with strong organizational skills
• Proficient in MS Office

Nice to have:

• Practical experience with lean production methods
• Knowledge of time management or work planning
