Description
WSP is seeking an experienced Building Technology Systems - Senior Consultant specializing in Structured Cabling, Electronic Security Systems, or Audiovisual design. The successful candidate will support and collaborate closely with Lead Consultants and project teams in the design, coordination, and construction administration of building technology systems across a wide range of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and coordinate designs for Structured Cabling, Electronic Security, or Audiovisual systems
- Contribute to delivering projects from inception to completion
- Coordinate with clients to gather and document system and design requirements
- Create design narratives and coordinated construction documents
- Coordinate and participate in project meetings with clients and design teams
- Review and respond to technology system submittals and RFIs
- Perform site surveys and field observations
- Coordinate the integration of building technology systems with other building systems
- Provide guidance and training to entry-level professionals
- Support business development and client relationship activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field
- 5-7+ years of experience designing building technology systems
- Ability to work independently on small to medium-sized projects
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and design skills
- Understanding of local and national codes and industry standards
- Relevant industry certifications preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office software

Compensation:
- Expected Salary: $107,500 - $145,000
