Drain and sewer issues are some of the most urgent calls in home services. As a Drain Technician at Davis Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electric, you will help customers get their homes back to normal quickly while identifying the underlying cause of the problem.
You will diagnose and clear residential drain and sewer stoppages, operate cable machines, augers, and drain-cleaning equipment, and perform sewer-camera inspections to identify blockages and other drainage issues. You will also explain findings and recommended next steps clearly to homeowners, complete accurate service notes, and maintain a clean, professional work area.
The ideal candidate has previous drain-cleaning, plumbing, maintenance, or mechanical experience, strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills, and excellent customer service and communication skills. You should be comfortable working independently, using drain-cleaning and sewer-inspection equipment, and willing to learn and continue developing plumbing and drain-service skills.
