Technical Artist (DCC Tools)

We are seeking a Technical Artist (DCC Tools) to join the EA SPORTS Technology team at Electronic Arts in Vancouver, Canada.

As a Technical Artist, you will develop pipelines, workflows, and technology innovations used by content creators across all of EA SPORTS. You will partner with development teams to build shared and scalable solutions, focusing on content production tools, pipelines, asset optimization/integration, and workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Develop pipelines, workflows, and technology innovations for content creators
• Partner with development teams to build shared and scalable solutions
• Focus on content production tools, pipelines, asset optimization/integration, and workflows
• Assume ownership of technical issues and bring them to resolution

Qualifications:

• At least 3+ years of cinematic/games production experience
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a related field
• Effective communication with different audiences (artists, engineers, managers)
• Proficient scripting/programming in Python or C# (C++ is a bonus)
• Experience with 2D/3D art packages (Maya, Photoshop, Houdini)
• Solutions-provider with testing and debugging experience
• Experience with asset optimization challenges/techniques
• Willingness to solve new problems and resolve technical challenges
• Passion for games!
