Senior BOM Sourcing Engineer

The Senior BOM Sourcing Engineer drives strategic supply network development and cost management of Anduril's product hardware across their lifecycles. This involves collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and manufacturing.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct supplier selection for specific products
• Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development
• Drive development and consolidation of manufacturing BOM
• Manage CAPEX throughout NPI
• Conduct value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead time and flexibility
• Complete BOM risk assessments
• Ensure completion of component qualifications
• Reduce complexity through commonality optimization and component/supplier rationalization
• Lead cost engineering activities
• Manage ad-hoc cost issues

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field, 5+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement, or design of electronics/mechanical devices, and domain expertise in value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work.
