Associate Director, Business Development, Brokerage and IFA Distribution

We're seeking an Associate Director, Business Development, Brokerage and IFA Distribution to join our marketing, distribution & partnership team. You'll play a vital part in advancing our movement to create a healthier, more sustainable future for everyone.

About the Role

This role contributes to the delivery of customer outcomes that are reliable, thoughtful, and create meaningful impact for customers and society. You will support the Channel Head to drive sales strategy for mapped accounts and lead a unit of PDMs to achieve business targets.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the Channel Head on implementation and execution of business plans and initiatives
• Lead a unit of PDMs to achieve business targets
• Develop new business ideas and lead the continuous development of Brokerage channel sales platform
• Sales management with subordinates and review business performance of mapped accounts regularly
• Strengthen and maintain good relationships with partners and their key personnel
• Penetrate TRs and facilitate them to deliver quality, compliant, and consistent business
• Conduct regular reviews on business performance and sales quality practice of brokers
• Drive and manage digital enablement utilisation internally and externally
• Grow subordinates with ongoing career development planning
• Provide on-the-job coaching for subordinates
• Share new ideas, best practices, and market intelligence with subordinates
• Ensure team members who perform regulated activities have obtained relevant licenses

Job Requirements:

• University/College graduate with at least 6 years of relevant experience and 2 years of managerial experience
• Self-motivated and self-driven personality
• Good organising and management skills
• Good insurance and investment product knowledge
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good written and spoken English and Chinese/Mandarin
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications
