QC Technician

We are seeking a QC Technician to join our team in Harvey, IL. As a QC Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products.

Responsibilities:

• Work second shift, Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Verify the quality of incoming raw materials and outgoing products using established methods
• Perform calculations and make blends to determine adjustments required to ensure conformance
• Maintain detailed records and communicate results in a timely manner
• Enter test data into our SAP system, file vendor certifications, and raw material and production inspections
• Prepare laboratory reagents, calibrate equipment, and file retained samples
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills, flexibility, and collaboration with colleagues
• Participate in general housekeeping, including routine cleaning and maintenance

Compensation:

• Competitive compensation with experience in a similar position
• Salary range: $24 - $25.50 per hour

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Biochemistry required
• Experience with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Laboratory experience is a plus
• SAP computer system experience is a plus
