Description
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in the Pre-Operative Assessment department at The Bath Clinic. This is a bank role working on an 'as and when required' basis, supplementing staffing levels during busy periods and providing cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.
The successful candidate will deliver direct nursing care in line with patient care plans and clinical protocols. Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing patient needs and prioritising care
- Monitoring vital signs and recognising changes in condition
- Administering medications safely and effectively
- Maintaining accurate and timely nursing documentation
- Ensuring compliance with NMC standards and hospital policies
- Identifying and reporting incidents and safeguarding concerns
To be considered for this role, applicants should have:
- Valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (Adult)
- Demonstrable experience working in a clinical healthcare setting
- Good understanding of clinical governance and patient safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in IT systems used for patient records and documentation
