Finance Manager, Technology FP&A

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our FP&A team, partnering with senior leadership to drive and scale Okta's growth.

Responsibilities:

• Be a strategic financial partner to the newly formed organization
• Own budgeting and forecasting processes, including partnering with business to ensure accuracy and preparing budget vs. actual variance analysis
• Lead thoughtful analysis, evaluating key drivers and metrics, and partnering on driving operational efficiencies
• Collaborate with the controllership organization on accruals and other elements of the close process
• Evolve these processes as needed
• M&A Deal Model Review & Stress-Testing: Evaluate, critique, and pressure-test buy-side valuation and financial deal models
• Lead financial due diligence workstream for target acquisitions
• Lead translation of deal-stage financial models into functional operational budgets and FP&A tracking mechanisms post-close
• Participate in long-range strategic planning
• Partner on Pricing & Packaging Strategies, serving as the core finance partner to the Pricing & Packaging and Product teams
• Lead Enterprise Deal Structuring & Margin Analysis, providing real-time deal desk support and strategic scenario modeling
• Evaluate Unit Economics & Margin Trade-offs, developing scalable models to evaluate discount structures and gross margin trade-offs
• Synthesize Insights for Leadership, translating product pricing dynamics and deal-level margin analytics into clear, actionable business insights
• Assist with and manage frequent ad hoc projects
• Lead process and systems improvement and scaling projects

Requirements:

• 5+ years of FP&A experience
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• MBA, Big 4 accounting, or investment banking experience a plus
• M&A support experience
• Proficiency with FP&A systems, Anaplan, Workday experience a plus
• Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills
• Advanced Excel and/or Gsheet and strong PowerPoint and/or Slides skills
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Prior experience in a high-growth high tech/software/SaaS organization a plus
