Description
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Solutions Architect - Travel and Hospitality to join our Field Engineering team. As a pre-sales professional, you will work with large enterprises in the Retail and CPG space to help them become more data-driven. You will define and direct the technical strategy for our largest accounts, leading to increased adoption of our products and ML & AI.
You will have a significant impact:
- Work with up to 9 clients as the main technical voice for Databricks
- Lead customers on a transformational journey, evaluating and adopting Databricks as part of their strategy
- Implement the technical strategy in the account, closely aligned with the overall strategy
- Build a movement of technical champions within the account
- Align technical strategies around Databricks solutions
- Provide structured mentorship for other team members
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience working with large enterprises (> $1m ARR) in Retail and CPG
- 4+ years of experience in pre-sales or supporting sales activities
- Technical expertise in big data, data science, and cloud
- Ability to drive business transformation through data-driven insights
- 3+ years of experience designing and implementing big data technologies such as Hadoop, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP, and OLAP, or full lifecycle data science solutions
- Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala, or Java

The pay range for this role is $219,100-$301,300 USD. The total compensation package may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.
