At Ford Motor Company, you will work on transforming the future for customers, communities, and families. The Product Development Engineer-RWD Hybrid Transmissions role involves designing, validating, and launching future Rear Wheel Hybrid Propulsion Systems.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a product development engineer responsible for 10-speed RWD hybrid propulsion systems and their integration into vehicle spaces.
- Take ownership of DV and PV strategies to deliver a best-in-class powertrain system.
- Work with component engineers to improve part quality and increase customer experience.
- Lead teams through vehicle level and transmission level milestones.
- Lead root cause investigations and testing requirements.
- Collaborate with Ford Powertrain Manufacturing and Ford Vehicle Assembly Plants on manufacturing-related improvement actions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar.
- 2+ years of automotive transmission experience or similar industry.
- 1+ years of CAD experience.

Salary:
- Salary grade 5: $65,100-$109,300
- Salary grade 6: $74,300-$124,500
- Salary grade 7: $86,600-$144,900
- Salary grade 8: $99,100-$166,200
