AR Accountant

We are seeking an AR Accountant to join our finance team.

As an AR Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable portfolio, monitoring outstanding invoices, and taking prompt action on payment delays. You will work closely with customers and account managers to ensure smooth communication and resolve any issues.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the accounts receivable portfolio, including monitoring open invoices and taking action on payment delays
• Conduct clear analyses to provide insights on credit risk, cash flow, and days sales outstanding (DSO)
• Prepare monthly reports for the head office, identify risks, and determine targeted actions to strengthen cash flow
• Maintain accurate pricing conditions and payment terms in SAP
• Investigate and resolve price differences in collaboration with account managers
• Process daily bank transactions, matching payments to invoices, and investigate any discrepancies
• Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to implementing new processes and systems

Requirements:

• Completed HBO or WO education in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics, or a related field with 1-2 years of relevant experience in financial administration
• Proficiency in Excel, with the ability to analyze data, create reports, and support actions
• Experience with SAP or another ERP system is preferred
• Detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
• Proactive and results-driven, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and driving improvements
