Power Generation Field Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team in Surrey, BC. As a Power Generation Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive prompt and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Diagnose and complete basic repairs using specialized tools and documented procedures
• Perform planned equipment maintenance activities on power generation products in the field
• Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets and timesheets
• Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle and tools
• Adhere to all relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Heavy-duty mechanics or Truck and Transport Red Seal certification
• Electrical Red Seal certification with some mechanical experience
• ASTT Certificate (or willingness to obtain within 2 years)
• Valid local driving permit and clean driver's abstract
• Intermediate knowledge of power generation products and services
• Experience with natural gas, propane, or diesel engines
• Mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities
• Familiarity with CSA 282 regulations and Cummins InPower software

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with some after-hour work and rotational on-call shifts
• Travel to remote locations, including Vancouver Island and other parts of BC, may be required
• Union environment

Compensation:

• $54.26 per hour
