Electronic Arts is seeking a Director, Business Strategy to join their Corporate Strategy team. The successful candidate will serve as an important advisor to EA's senior creative leaders, providing proactive strategic perspective and connective tissue across EA's ecosystem.
The Director, Business Strategy will help shape the future of EA's interactive entertainment portfolio, defining how franchises grow, evolve, and remain culturally relevant. They will provide data-informed thought partnership to senior creative leaders, unlocking growth, promoting innovation, and maximizing the long-term value of EA's IP and development capabilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Strategic Vision and Leadership: Be a trusted advisor to senior creative leaders, shaping long-term strategy and translating it into near-term priorities.
- Strategic Planning: Develop structured frameworks to evaluate strategic opportunities, lead ad hoc market and financial analyses, and guide strategic initiatives end-to-end.
- Promote Innovative Growth: Help promote EA's studio and franchise teams to innovate, experiment, and grow, while using EA's world-class IP, creative talent, technology, and development infrastructure.
- Develop Strategy Talent: Foster a collaborative, inclusive culture, mentoring and coaching Strategy team members to develop the next generation of strategic leaders.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of relevant experience in strategy, corporate development, or related roles, with 3+ years in a management or team leadership capacity within media, technology, gaming, or entertainment. They will have expertise partnering with senior executives and creative leaders, influencing decisions, and excelling in high-visibility situations.
