Description
As a Deputy Monetization Director at Ubisoft, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating tactical elements of monetization strategies and mechanisms.
You will also be in charge of analysing and optimising purchase processes and leading discussions with LRS, publishers, and other third-party partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the MTX / Player Engagement team and implement the monetization roadmap.
- Drive the implementation of in-game store and currency systems from design to launch.
- Define specifications, support production, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Develop forecasting models and track performance to optimize results.
- Oversee pricing strategy (hard/soft currency) and continuous rebalancing.
- Lead the Battle Pass strategy, including overhauls and new offers.
Live Operations:
- Manage the MTX pipeline (from planning to integration) and supervise direct reports.
- Drive annual MTX planning and offer strategy by update.
- Oversee store operations, reporting, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate MTX initiatives with marketing, community, online activities, and live operations teams.
Content and Design:
- Represent MTX in creative and validation processes.
- Define best practices for monetization design and resources.
- Develop systems and offers promoting engagement and retention.
- Lead inter-brand partnerships and licensing initiatives.
Performance and Analysis:
- Oversee MTX performance reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate with the analytics team to drive segmentation and optimization.
