Therapy Aide - Physical Therapy Outpatient

We are seeking a Therapy Aide to join our Physical Therapy Outpatient team at Aspirus Outpatient Therapy in Wausau, WI. This is a full-time position, working varied day hours between 6:30am - 6:00pm, Monday - Friday.

The Therapy Aide is a non-licensed worker who works under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to assist and carry out patient care to pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
• Carry out treatment plans as directed
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients

Requirements:

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• On-the-job training in complex technical duties
• Clear demonstration of competence at performing Physical Therapy Aide duties
• Previous applicable experience beneficial
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
