Lead - Data Modeler

Prudential Health India is seeking a Lead/Data Modeler to join their Experience team in Mumbai.

The role involves designing, developing, testing, and implementing data models supporting mobile apps, SDKs, micro-frontends, WhatsApp, and ecosystem partners.

Key responsibilities:

• Deeply understand the long-term architectural direction, with emphasis on reusable components, and the interactions between the various applications.
• Work closely with data engineers, software engineers, data architects, solution designers, R&D, analysts, product managers, and other teams and stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes for the company.
• Design, develop, test, and implement data models supporting mobile apps, SDKs, micro-frontends, WhatsApp, and ecosystem partners.
• Establish standards for platform development.
• Use data-driven insights to guide the development of programs and apps that meet user needs.
• Follow and contribute to defining and ensuring adherence to architecture and coding standards.
• Keep up with innovativeness to build world-class propositions using bleeding-edge technologies, frameworks, and best practices to bring differentiation through technology.

Requirements:

• 7-15 years of experience in data modeling.
• Proven hands-on experience in data modeling, with a strong understanding of data modeling principles, methodologies, and tools.
• Demonstrated ability to understand technology and architectural strategy & processes & its successful translation into engineering solutions.
• Deep expertise in data modeling tools such as ER/Studio, ERwin, or similar.
• Strong Data and SQL skills and experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL and No-SQL DBs).
• Experience with large-scale data engineering/transformation with successful implementation of data warehouses, lakes or lake houses leveraging cloud technologies like GCP.
