User Risk Strategist

Stripe, a financial infrastructure platform, seeks a User Risk Strategist. As a User Risk Strategist, you will drive risk strategy for company-level strategic initiatives, partnering with various teams to solve risk problems and ensure a positive user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement risk strategies for company-wide initiatives
• Collaborate with product, legal, operations, sales, and partnerships teams to mitigate risks
• Conduct research and analysis to assess Stripe's current risk performance and develop long-term strategic plans
• Optimize business enablement to support merchant growth while maintaining a positive user experience
• Provide alternative solutions and execution criteria for risk challenges
• Execute special projects and ad hoc analyses as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Policy, Development Studies, or a related field
• Five years of progressive experience as a Risk Strategist or in a related occupation
• Five years of experience in developing risk strategies, working with technical products, and translating business requirements to technical configurations
• Ability to distill complex risk problems into clear guidance and derive insights from technical problem spaces
