Description
We are seeking a part-time General Maintenance Associate to join our team at Spark by Hilton Germantown. You will be responsible for providing assistance in engineering operations, including maintenance, repair of hotel property, outside grounds, hotel equipment, preventative maintenance, and asset protection.
Responsibilities:
- Learn and demonstrate the ability to maintain property assets, working with the Chief Engineer to understand preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, routine inspections, and capital expenditures.
- Assist and respond to guests' requests in a friendly and positive manner, providing the highest level of service.
- Assess and evaluate property assets through preventative maintenance, recommending maintenance service solutions to managers.
- Follow B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group's standard operating procedures, learning and executing engineering SOPs.
- Work collaboratively with all departments, contributing to meeting guest needs and completing assigned duties.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to regulations and using personal protective equipment when needed.
- Prioritize work duties, adhering to attendance policies and department procedures.
Required Skills and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required; CPO and appliance repair certification is desired.
- 2+ years of maintenance experience preferred; attention to detail, customer-focused, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 100 pounds regularly.
