Description
We are seeking a Senior Practitioner Educational Psychologist to join our team in the London Borough of Newham. As a Senior Practitioner Educational Psychologist, you will deliver evidence-based, high-quality psychological services to children, young people, and families.
The role involves supervision, project development, leadership, and team building within the Educational Psychology Service (EPS). You will be committed to supporting the inclusion of vulnerable children and young people, developing the practice of EP colleagues, and using reflective supervision to enhance your own practice and that of colleagues.
The EPS offers a range of work streams through traded services to various settings, including mainstream and special schools, colleges, and universities. You will have opportunities to work on community-commissioned initiatives, such as the Youth Empowerment Service, CHAND (our service for Children with Autism in Newham), and the Youth Justice Service.
In return, we offer a competitive salary of £68,538 per year, career progression opportunities, a retention package, excellent supervision, ring-fenced CPD opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package, including flexible working arrangements, IT support, and a strong focus on team wellbeing.
If you are an experienced EP who shares our commitment to supporting children and young people's aspirations, celebrating their achievements, and guaranteeing children with SEND get the education, encouragement, and support they deserve, we would love to hear from you.
