Description
Electronic Arts is seeking a Senior Experience Designer for the EA SPORTS™ NHL team. As a member of the Live Experience Design (XD) team, you will help shape online gameplay experiences, including Hockey Ultimate Team, World of Chel, and Live events.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing complex, data-rich applications, and experience with UX tools like Figma. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure continued commitment to the online player base and contribute to long-term healthy UX solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the live service user experience, including Hockey Ultimate Team and other online modes
- Translate research insights into workflows and designs using UX tools and methodologies
- Identify user testing and research needs for multiple features and coordinate with the internal UR team
- Mentor junior UX designers on best practices within the user experience and design industry
- Establish design strategy and best practices for online and live service environment experiences
Required Qualifications:
- Portfolio showcasing design skills, technical expertise, and holistic thinking
- 6+ years of experience designing complex, data-rich applications
- Experience presenting complex concepts to various audiences
- Comfortable working in complex organisations and promoting UX principles and best practices
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience designing live service user experiences
- Experience establishing and improving player-forward UX processes in a monetized live service gameplay environment
