Senior Systems Engineer - Battery Systems

We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer - Battery Systems to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for system engineering activities in the development of battery systems and related test projects. The role involves applying current directives, international standards, and internal guidelines, as well as reference technologies and interfaces.

Responsibilities:

• Design battery systems and subsystems, and their integration into various test and development applications, including high-voltage batteries, Battery Management Systems, battery packs, and electric powertrains.
• Collaborate with global and multidisciplinary project teams to ensure effective and consistent system integration.
• Work closely with international engineering teams to share knowledge, best practices, and support joint projects.
• Interact with customers to understand system requirements and present technical information and solutions clearly and effectively.
• Provide technical support and assistance in resolving issues related to battery systems and test systems.
• Collaborate with internal and external production teams to ensure effective industrialization and transfer of designed solutions to production.
• Identify and resolve complex system issues through root cause analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Contribute to system risk assessment activities.
• Define and implement corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurring faults or anomalies.
• Promote the reuse of validated solutions and best practices developed in other projects.
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, battery safety requirements, and customer specifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Energy, or related engineering disciplines.
• 4-7 years of experience in battery systems, electrification systems, energy storage systems, or related technical areas.
• Experience in requirements engineering, system integration, verification, and validation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English language skills.
