About the Role
The Associate Director, Distribution Digital will drive the technology strategy for AIA Distribution platforms, including Agency, Bancassurance, and Corporate Solutions, across all Business Units. This involves translating channel priorities into actionable, data-informed technology roadmaps that support growth, productivity, and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Define, govern, and continuously evolve minimum platform standards across Business Units, covering digital and AI capabilities, telemetry, performance, and business-outcome tracking.
- Own the performance and evolution of Distribution platforms, ensuring they provide a seamless, efficient, high-quality experience for agents, leaders, partners, and other end users.
- Be distribution-obsessed, maintaining a deep understanding of the distinct needs of Agency, Bancassurance, and Corporate Solutions.
- Provide thought leadership to extend AIA's leadership in the industry through differentiated, market-leading Distribution capabilities and experiences.
- Lead the design and delivery of medium- to large-scale strategic initiatives, including platform enhancements, partner integrations, and digital tools.
- Establish and govern platform KPIs, performance benchmarks, and feature-level telemetry.
- Embed AI, analytics, and responsible AI capabilities into Distribution platforms to enable more effective recruitment, training, sales, and salesforce management.
- Work with innovation teams to identify, validate, and industrialise new technologies into scalable Distribution capabilities and platforms.
- Continuously optimise the digital estate to reduce duplication, retire legacy tools where appropriate, improve cost efficiency, and maximise reuse of shared platforms, components, and capabilities.
Requirements
- 12-15+ years of extensive and proven relevant experience.
- Experience in financial services, insurance, or other regulated industries.
- Demonstrable experience in working at ExCo / C-Level to drive technology initiatives and provide guidance / expertise / advice.
- Experience implementing test and learn initiatives at scale with proven success in implementing findings.
- Experience of leading and delivering transformation in a de-centralised organisation.
