Electronic Arts is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team in Hyderabad. The successful candidate will report to the Manager, FP&A.
The CFO organisation at Electronic Arts comprises a broad group of finance disciplines, with the common goal of partnering with business teams to deliver strategies and provide players with amazing experiences. As a Financial Analyst, you will assist the onshore services team in monthly/quarterly forecast and annual planning processes, ensure accurate and timely completion of reporting deliverables, and provide commentary for major variances.
Responsibilities:
- Forecasting, Planning, and Reporting – Assist the onshore services team in monthly/quarterly forecast and annual planning processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of reporting deliverables in advance of Quarterly Business Reviews, MBRs, etc.
- Discuss plan and forecast numbers with business leaders and load them into the system.
- Report Actuals, compare them with plan/latest forecast, and provide commentary for major variances.
- Provide early warnings to leaders regarding unforeseen expenses.
- Review monthly financial actuals, identify accounting adjustments, and partner with accounting to ensure accurate month-end journal entries.
Requirements:
- Academic Qualifications - Master's degree in Finance preferred, but not mandatory. Bachelor's degree required – Finance/Accounting related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of related Financial and FP&A experience.
- Demonstrated passion for learning and growing.
- Highly motivated with an ability to manage multiple and sometimes competing priorities.
- Comfortable building analysis based off data from multiple sources.
- Extreme attention to detail with a rigorous process for review of accuracy.
- Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adept in MS Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Anaplan and/or Power BI is a plus.
