Description
The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) job is a development-focused role that prepares you for a CVS Store Manager position.
As a SMIT, you will participate in a 16-week self-paced, collaborative training program that includes virtual and hands-on learning experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with your team
- Provide high-quality customer service
- Execute merchandising strategies to drive store sales growth
- Manage store inventory and assets to maintain profitability
Expectations:
- Actively engage with your leader in Key Learning Experiences
- Support your store as a management team member
- Engage colleagues in support of the company's purpose
- Be willing to accept promotion roles within the market
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Retail management experience or experience as a CVS Supervisor
- Ability to work a varying schedule
- Willingness to accept a promotion to Store Manager role at any location in the designated market
