Join our Research and Advanced Engineering team as a Body Exteriors and Closures CAE Engineer, working on next-generation Model e products.
Responsibilities:
- Lead CAE analysis of closures and body exteriors
- Collaborate with D&R engineers to drive design resolutions using linear and non-linear CAE analysis
- Develop component, system, and vehicle-level CAE models
- Conduct DOE studies using optimization tools
- Develop CAE-based countermeasures to meet requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation
- Experience with CAE tools such as Altair Hypermesh, Abaqus, Ls-Dyna, and optimization tools like Tosca or Optistruct
- Python/TCL scripting skills for automation of pre-processing and material verification
We offer a salary of $116,459.00 - $188,186.16/yr.
