Cleaning Operative

We are seeking experienced cleaning operatives with great attention to detail to join our team at ABM UK. As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for carrying out cleaning duties as directed by the Cleaning Manager and Supervisor.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Office cleaning and workstation cleaning, including IT equipment
• Hard floor cleaning using a buffing machine or scrubber dryer (training provided)
• Vacuuming, dusting, and waste removal
• Cleaning kitchen and vending areas
• Washroom and toilet cleaning
• Pantry cleaning
• Machine carpet cleaning
• Touch point cleaning
• Cleaning crockery

Requirements:

• Previous cleaning experience preferred
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Smart, clean appearance
• Ability to work as part of a team and alone
• Proactive and flexible attitude to work
• Punctual, trustworthy, and with a good eye for detail
• Successful candidates will be required to complete a background verification and undergo security checks, including criminal and credit checks prior to start date

Shift Pattern:

• Sunday to Monday, 10pm - 7am (including a 1-hour unpaid break)
• 40 hours per week

Pay Rate:

• £14.80 per hour
