Description
We are seeking a Respiratory Physiologist to join our team at Ross Hall Hospital in Glasgow. This is a bank role working on an 'as and when required' basis, supplementing staffing levels during busy periods and providing cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.
The successful candidate will perform a highly comprehensive range of respiratory investigations, including invasive and non-invasive procedures. You will work alongside specialist nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, and other healthcare science staff.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing respiratory investigations, including invasive and non-invasive procedures
- Working as a skilled member of the respiratory physiology and sleep sciences team
- Scheduling procedures, pre-admission, and pre and post procedural patient support
- Complying with CPD guidelines and professional codes of conduct
- Playing an active role in the future development of respiratory services
To be considered for this role, applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Current knowledge of a range of clinical specialties and developments in clinical practice
- Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations
- A degree in Clinical Physiology or equivalent significant professional experience within respiratory physiology field
- ARTP Part 1 and 2 or ARTP Professional Examination
- RCCP, AHCS or HCPC Registration
- Evidence of continued professional development
