Field Engineering Manager, Specialist Solutions Architects - Nordics

We are seeking a Field Engineering Manager, Specialist Solutions Architects to lead a team of Specialist Solutions Architects responsible for key elements of the technical sales cycle in the Nordics region.

You will grow and develop a dynamic team with expertise in areas including enterprise software, data engineering, and data science/machine learning, who will continue to deepen their knowledge of Databricks as the platform expands.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Hiring, training, and growing a diverse team of Specialist Solutions Architects for Databricks
• Exceeding regional consumption targets by working with cross-functional counterparts
• Making customers extremely successful with Databricks and providing outsized value to their businesses
• Establishing relationships across the business to make customers and team successful
• Growing Databricks Platform usage and preventing churn in strategic accounts

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience leading technical pre-sales and/or post-sales teams
• 3+ years of experience in developing the data and AI space with highly technical platforms
• Elite command of technical qualification methodologies, architecture design validation, and value-selling frameworks
• Experience hiring qualified candidates, ramping them up to be successful, and promoting into larger roles
