Senior Data Analyst

Ubisoft Barcelona Mobile is seeking a Senior Data Analyst / Data Scientist to support insight initiatives for the Data and Analytics team. The successful candidate will turn raw data into decisions, reporting to the Director of Data & Analytics.

Responsibilities:

• Perform hands-on research, data exploration, and analysis to drive decisions and strategies for user acquisition, retention, and monetization.
• Provide insights into user behavior, answer key business questions, and support A/B test design and analysis.
• Build and maintain reliable data models and pipelines for the wider organization.
• Carry out projects in machine learning for behavioral segmentation and monetization.
• Design, build, and maintain clear Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Debug and problem-solve issues to ensure accurate analysis and tools.
• Communicate results and insights to senior stakeholders.
• Coordinate and share best analytical practices within the organization.
• Explore applications of AI and Generative AI to accelerate analysis and uncover new player insights.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Machine Learning, Data Science, and AI/GenAI trends.
• Contribute to the team's knowledge base and culture.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a quantitative field (Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science).
• Highly proficient in SQL and Python for data exploration and analysis.
• Experience with cloud-based data warehouses (Amazon Redshift) and data transformation tools (dbt).
• Solid experience building dashboards and reports in Power BI.
• Comfortable working with version control (Git/GitLab).
• Robust understanding of advanced statistics.
• Experience designing effective communication and visualization of results.
• Experience in predictive analytics and segmentation.

Nice to Have:

• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted tools.
• Exposure to applying Generative AI / LLMs to analytics use cases.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Software engineering best practices.
