2027 Systems Engineer Intern

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology.

You will assist the systems engineer team in building out new products to satisfy customer requirements in new and challenging mission areas.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the systems engineer team in building out new products to satisfy customer requirements in new and challenging mission areas
• Contribute technical inputs to engineering execution plans
• Develop tools to be used in oversight to a multi-disciplinary team of engineers through all phases of program execution up to and including delivery and operation of capabilities on-orbit
• Assist in process development for mission and system level trade studies and analysis to balance risk, cost, and performance

Requirements:

• Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
• Must be returning to school at the end of the internship to continue academic studies for at least one quarter or semester
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities; U.S. clearance eligibility may be required depending on program
• Ability to complete a 12-week in-person internship in one of our offices in summer 2027

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong technical communication skills, providing the ability to deliver critical technical briefings and conclusions to technical leadership
• Strong technical fundamentals in an engineering discipline
• Working knowledge of systems engineering principles
• Matlab experience
• Experience in Linux
